First responders were busy on Monday and early this morning.
A vehicle accident was reported by Indiana County 911 at 2:19 PM. Rossiter fire department, state police and Punxsutawney EMS were dispatched to the accident at the intersection of Church Road and Canoe Ridge Road in Canoe Township. Details on the crash were not released.
Indiana Fire Association companies 3 &4 and Indiana Borough Police were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm activation on Philadelphia Street at 2:22 PM.
And this morning, a landing zone was requested along South Liberty Street in Blairsville Borough. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were called out to set up the landing zone at 12:15 this morning.
And at 5:25 AM, Glenn Campbell and Cherry Tree fire departments were called into Clearfield County for a reported vehicle fire on Cherry Run Road in Burnside. Initial scanner reports say the vehicle on fire is a large truck hauling wood chips.
