On Monday, the Center Township Supervisors approved a resolution to apply for some state funds for a project in Lucernemines.
Township Supervisors President Matt Housholder said that the $630,000 in Multimodal Transportation Funds would be used to pave Lucernemines, which has not been paved in a long time. Housholder said the money would be reimbursed to the township.
The township would have to match a portion of the grant funding.
The township also approved revisions to the Sewage Facilities Plans for both Cherry Run and Luciousboro, and hired Robert Williams as the new Aultman Fire Police officer.
