A Plumville man who is already awaiting court action in a burglary case has been charged with defiant trespass for an incident in Rayne Township. State police have accused 45-year-old Michael Buterbaugh of trespassing at a home along Route 85 on September 19th. The victims are a 47-year-old man and 59-year-old woman. Buterbaugh has had multiple cases come before Indiana County Court in the past and is currently awaiting court action in a felony burglary and trespassing case that originated in March.
A Graceton woman is facing charges after a traffic stop August 24th along Graceton Village Road/Third Street in Center Township. Police pulled over 43-year-old Lisa Erb for traffic violations and subsequently determined that she was under the influence of a controlled substance. She consented to a search of the vehicle which yielded drug paraphernalia. She’s charged with driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
State police also responded to a dog-biting incident along a private road in Green Township. It happened September 6th and the owners of the dog were treated by EMS personnel.
Indiana Borough Police say someone damaged a flag pole at one home in the 300 block of South 5th Street early Friday morning and a Halloween flag was stolen at a neighboring home. Surveillance footage shows the perpetrator in the act at the home where the pole was damaged, at about 12:30 AM. Anyone who knows anything about it is asked to call police at 349-2121.
Accident reports include a crash shortly before 5 PM yesterday on Red Street in Young Township, with Coal Run/Iselin firefighters responding along with both Lifestat Ambulance and Citizens Ambulance Service. And there was a crash at 12:36 AM today on Fulton Run Road in White Township. State police and Indiana firefighters were dispatched.
