IUP is on the road again today as they will face off against Slippery Rock.
IUP is 3-1 on the season so far and coming off a 30-13 win against Mercyhurst last week. During that game, IUP’s defense notched four sacks and broke up 10 passes. Slippery Rock is a perfect 4-0 on the season so far, and are coming off a win against Seton Hill 35-14.
Saturday marks the 97th all-time meeting between IUP and Slippery Rock, dating back to 1907. The teams have split the last 16 meetings with eight wins apiece, while IUP enters with two consecutive wins in the series against SRU, including a 48-21 road win in 2021.
