Former IUP men’s basketball assistant coach and Brockway native Jake Perrin was named the Director of Basketball Operations at the University of Tennessee at Martin Wednesday morning.
Perrin spent last season as a graduate assistant coach, helping the Crimson Hawks to a 32-2 overall record, a 21-1 mark in the PSAC, a conference championship, and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament.
Coach Joe Lombardi called Perrin a “good coach with a great heart” in a post on X. He added Perrin will be “a blessing to all those he impacts,” while wishing Perrin luck in his next chapter.
