Two former Big East rivals will meet once again in a few seasons.
In an announcement on X, officials with UConn announced that they will face Pitt in two non-conference games in both 2027 and 2028. It would mark the first time both schools met in 15 years, as they last faced off in 2012 with UConn winning that game, 24-17.
Both teams were rivals when they were a part of the Big East, which Pitt succeeded from following the 2012 season.
