VOLLEYBALL
Homer-Center and River Valley battled down to the wire before the Wildcats won the match, 3-2. Homer-Center easily took the first game, 25-15, but the Panthers took the next two, 26-24 and 25-22. Homer-Center rebounded to take the fourth set, 25-14 and then won the final game, 16-14. Meegan Williams led the Wildcats with 18 kills and 10 digs, Alaina Fabin added 11 blocks and 8 kills, Emma Rouser had 8 blocks and 5 kills and Ashlyn Kerr had 7 kills.
GOLF
Indiana’s boys lost for only the second time this season, dropping a nine-stroke decision to Latrobe, 195-204. Indiana’s Harrison Martineau and Latrobe’s PJ Germano each fired 2-under 34s to share medalist honors. Trevor Todd shot 40 for Indiana, Philip Bell 42, Hunter Martin 43 and Ryan Bell 45. Indiana is 11-2 overall and 6-2 in their Section, with both losses coming to Latrobe.
In a non-conference match, River Valley beat Indiana, 214-248. For River Valley, Madigan Dunlap and Emilee Staats had 50s, Maren Dunlap shot a 51, and Carley Weimer a 63. For Indiana, Izzy Slagle led the way with a 53. Peyton Scott shot 59, Evangeline Pangonis 66, and Bella Donatelli 70.
