Homer-Center downed Ferndale in high school golf at Chestnut Ridge yesterday. The Wildcats shot a combined 253, led by medalist Marcus Coy, with a season-best 42. Ava King shot a season-best 51 and Nathan Birchall had a 55.
Indiana’s girls fell to Connellsville, 220-260. Indiana was led by Izabella Slagle with a 53 on the rain-swept Indiana Country Club course. Courtney Cass had a 66, Evangeline Pangonis a 70, and Peyton Scott shot 71. Connellsville’s Paiton Ulery and Katie Atz were co-medalists, at 49.
