A pitchers’ duel between Altoona and Bowie went the way of the Baysox as they won 3-1 over the Curve last night.
Both teams scored a single run in the sixth inning, but in the bottom of the 8th, Bowie’s Max Wagner scored on an RBI single from Silas Ardoin, and John Rhodes scored on a sacrifice fly by Max Costes.
The two teams will play again tonight. Anthony Solometo will pitch for the Curve, while Alex Pham will pitch for Bowie.
