The Pitt Panthers are 12 days into training camp at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and coach Pat Narduzzi is noticing a consistent pattern at practice.
Narduzzi spoke to reporters following yesterday’s workout and he said the majority of success has come from the offensive side of things. One specific example the coach used was transfer quarterback Phil Jurkovic, saying there have been few days were they look at him and say quote, “wow, that was a terrible day by him.” Other players that impressed Narduzzi were redshirt senior Bub Means and Bednarik Award nominee M.J. Devonshire.
Narduzzi said consistency is a key to success for those looking to make it to the NFL.
The coach added that the team has not started preparations for the September 2nd opener against Wofford.
