Pitt opened training camp yesterday, the same day the ACC preseason media poll picked the Panthers to finish in a sixth-place tie with Duke in the conference this year. Clemson is the number one choice, followed by Florida State, North Carolina, NC State, and Miami. After Pitt and Duke, Louisville is picked eighth, then it’s Wake Forest, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Virginia. 176 media members voted.
Penn State opens its training camp today.
IUP begins camp on Monday.
