It was showdown day at the PA Youth Legion state championship tournament in Berwick as Western champ Penn Trafford took on eastern champion Upper Perk, and the Warriors suffered only their second loss of the season. Upper Perk outscored PT, 6-4.
In other action, Back Mountain was an 8-6 winner over Monroeville and Lower Southampton dropped Saegertown, 12-2.
Today Lower Southampton plays Penn Trafford and Upper Perk takes on Back Mountain.
