The Pa Youth Legion state tournament gets underway this weekend in Berwick with the three teams that emerged from last week’s Western Regional in Homer City taking part.
Western champ Penn Trafford will take on Black Mountain, Monroeville will play Lower Macungie, and Saegertown will play tournament host Berwick in the first round. The other game will feature two more teams from the East, Upper Perk against Lower Southampton.
The tournament runs Saturday through next Wednesday.
