Claudio Finol tied the game with a sac bunt in the second, then back-to-back RBI singles by Chavez Young and Jacob Gonzalez in the fifth helped lead the Curve to a 3-1 win over Harrisburg Wednesday afternoon.
Nick Dombkowski picked up the win with two-and-two-thirds innings of scoreless relief while Oliver Garcia retired the side in the ninth to earn the save. Beau Sulser did not factor into the decision, but tossed a season-high four innings, allowing one unearned run and four hits while striking out four.
Mike Jarvis collected three hits for Altoona. Gonzalez and Young each had two.
Game three is tomorrow night. Lefty Anthony Solometo starts for Altoona.
