Homer City Post 493 played a few extra innings last night, but got the job done, while S.W. Jack lost in their opener in the Youth Legion tournament. Todd Marino has highlights from the four games played.
More baseball action is planned today at First Commonwealth Bank Field as the Regional tournament continues. We’ll have two games on Renda Digital TV, starting with Millcreek against SW Jack at 10 AM, and we’ll also have the late game with Homer City Post 493 taking on Edinboro at 7:30.
A reminder for fans that the Pirate Parrot will make a visit to First Commonwealth Bank Field today at 6;30. Kids 16 and under will be admitted free, and after the final game around 9:30, the Homer City Boosters will put on a fireworks show.
