Down in the minors, the Altoona Curve were limited to one run and five hits as they lost to Reading 4-1. Altoona was struck out 13 times in the loss. The only run for the Curve came in the 8th inning when Lolo Sanchez hit a soft line drive single to score Abrahan Gutierrez.
The two teams play again tonight. Altoona will send Sean Sullivan up to start. He is 2-2 with a 4.16 ERA. Reading has not named a starter.
