All-Star pitcher Mitch Keller was spectacular on Saturday for the Pirates, but the Bucs’ bullpen let him down, including his fellow All-Star David Bednar. Greg Brown reports.
The Pirates limp toward the All-Star break today with the final game of the series. They will go with a bullpen game, with Carmen Mlodzinski getting the start.
The Pirates will have the first overall selection in tonight’s first round of the MLB Draft. It gets underway at 7 PM (Eastern) in Seattle. Rounds one and two will happen tonight, followed by rounds 3-10 tomorrow and rounds 11-20 on Tuesday.
