A special event concerning the Hoodlebug Trail extension through Indiana has been postponed.
The “Grand Reopening” event originally scheduled by the county office of planning and development for today will now be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 22nd. The display was meant to be final component to the Indiana Multimodal Corridor-Hoodlebug Trail expansion project, which connects the popular walking and biking trail to downtown Indiana and eventually to the White Township Recreation Complex on East Pike. The celebration will focus on the project partners like the office of planning and development, Indiana Borough, White Township and IUP.
As part of the celebration, there will be a Hoodlebug Trail Awareness and Appreciation Ride after the ceremonies. The ride will take people down the corridor and out to White Township to a turnaround point near Indian Springs Road. This ride is free and open to the public.
