S.W. Jack took advantage of nine Armstrong walks to come away with a 14-6 win Thursday night. The Drillers trailed by five runs early in the game, but capitalized on the slew of walks and combined it with timely hitting to post 14 unanswered runs.
Charlie Manzi went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs. Brock Lewis collected two hits along with four RBI and two runs. Caden Force added two RBI.
Chace Force earned the win in relief while Manzi picked up a save.
The Drillers move to 6-3, while Armstrong fell to 7-3.
Mahoning Valley edged Homer City Post 493, 3-2.
