More details were released regarding the unexpected death of former Steelers linebacker Clark Haggans.
In a report to ESPN, the Larimer County Coroner’s office said it responded to his private home in Colorado to investigate the death of a 46-year-old male, who was later identified as Haggans. Officials said in a statement “no foul play is evident,” but an investigation is on-going.
Haggans spent seven years with the Steelers, helping them claim a Super Bowl XL championship. He also helped lead Colorado State to two Mountain West conference championships.
The school plans on arranging memorial services.
