IUP’s Shaun Fedor was named to the first team of the 2022-23 Academic All-America Men’s At-Large team, officials with the College Sports Communicators announced Wednesday.
Players named to the All-America team must have a cumulative 3.5 GPA as a starter or significant reserve with at least one full year at their schools. Fedor cleared requirements with a 3.95 GPA. He’s also earned several academic awards over the year, including being named PSAC Champion Scholar in October.
Fedor also excelled on the links, earning four All-PSAC honors and even being named to the PSAC Spring Top 10 this month. He becomes the second Crimson Hawk to be named to the team, with the last being Zach Kempa, who earned it twice in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
