Bowie took advantage of Altoona starter Sean Sullivan and two crucial errors to escape Thursday night with a 9-8 win at PNG Field.
The Baysox tallied three runs in the third, four in the fifth and two in the seventh in the win. Sullivan gave up seven runs, four of them earned, in four-and-two-thirds innings. Bear Bellomy allowed two runs in an inning of relief.
Ji Man Choi started his rehab assignment in Altoona, going 1-for-2 with a double to center. He also committed a throwing error. Jacob Gonzalez and Matt Fraizer each collected two hits.
Game five of the series is tonight. 2021 second-round pick LHP Anthony Solometo makes his second start for the Curve. First pitch is 6 p.m.
