The Golf Coaches Association of America released its 2023 NCAA Division II PING All-America team on Tuesday and IUP’s Jack Buccigross made the list. He’s the first All-American selection for IUP since Kenny Sames in 2014-15, and he’s also the program’s 29th honoree.
Buccigross earned All-PSAC First Team honors earlier this month. He’s also a five-time all-region honoree and finished tied for sixth at the 2023 NCAA DII Atlantic/East Super Regional.
IUP softball coach Shawna Bellaud is adding reinforcements to her 2024 team. In an announcement on the team’s Twitter, the Crimson Hawks are adding catcher Reagan Rand, a Division I transfer from Seton Hall.
Rand appeared in six games last season for the Pirates, hitting .267 and one walk.
