With the NHL Free Agency period rapidly approaching, rumors are starting to circulate that the Penguins could be an ideal fit for several names.
Nicholas Brlansky with Sports Illustrated says the Penguins could be in the running for former Boston forward Tyler Bertuzzi. He played 21 games for the President’s Trophy-winning Bruins last year and netted four goals and 12 assists.
Also projected for the Penguins are defensemen Dimitry Orlov and Ryan Graves. Orlov also played with Boston last year, posting 17 points in 23 games, while Graves spent last year with the New Jersey Devils. He posted eight goals and 18 assists in 78 games.
NHL Free Agency begins July 1st at noon.
