New Penguins president of hockey operations Kyle Dubas wasted no time getting to work on refurbishing the franchise, and he reportedly started in his own front office.
According to multiple sources, the Penguins fired director of hockey strategy Alec Schall, senior vice president of sports science and performance Teena Murray, and director of pro scouting Kerry Huffman, all on the same day Dubas was hired. The three departing executives were all hires of the former regime of Brian Burke and Ron Hextall.
