The Steelers’ roster now stands at 88 players after they signed Arizona Cardinals linebacker Markus Golden to a one-year contract on Wednesday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the move on his Twitter.
Golden played in 17 games with the Cardinals last season and collected 48 tackles with 2.5 sacks. In his career, he’s posted 47 sacks.
Golden will compete with rookie Nick Herbig and former New York Giant Quincy Roche as a rotational piece in the linebacker room.
