The Steelers have not announced the signing of Mason Rudolph to come back and play quarterback for them, but numerous media and an apparent Twitter response from Rudolph himself seem to confirm that it’s happening. Rudolph became a free agent after last season and has not been connected with any other teams in the offseason.
The 27-year-old Rudolph was the Steelers’ third round draft choice in 2018. He did not play in any games last year.
Steelers college scout Mark Gorscak is retiring after 28 years with the team. He announced it on his Twitter account, saying he is “graduating after 28 years in the NFL, all with the Pittsburgh Steelers.” Gorscak is best known as the “starter” for the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine for the last two decades.
