The IUP men’s golf team jumped five spots on the team leaderboard at the NCAA DII Super Regional on Friday, heading into today’s final round in a tie for fifth place.
IUP is just five strokes from third entering play Saturday. Alex Swinnerton paced the IUP lineup in round two behind a one-over 73. Carding a two-day score of 151, Swinnerton recorded birdies on holes two, three, 10 and 16.
Jackson Buccigross is within the top 15 overall on the individual leaderboard, posting a 76 on Friday and a tie for sixth.
