Three people from Indiana County were recently named to the 2023 Pennsylvania Power 100 listing.
Senator Joe Pittman was ranked in the annual ranking from the City and State website. In their annual Power 100 listing, State Senator Joe Pittman was ranked 13th. His ranking was cemented as he currently serves as the chamber’s majority leader, which allows him to set the agenda for the Republican Caucus. The publication also cited his work as the chair of the Senate’s Rules and Executive Nominations committee among his other duties.
Also on the list is former State Representative and current Pennsylvania State President for First Commonwealth Bank Dave Reed, who was listed as 76. After leaving the state house in 2018, Reed has worked for First Commonwealth and currently oversees the newly-formed capital region division, comprising of nine locations from Harrisburg to Philadelphia. He also was cited for his efforts in the acquisition of Centric Bank, and as a member of City and State’s advisory board.
And coming in at 81 was Christine Toretti. She is the former chairperson and CEO of S.W. Jack Drilling Company, and is the Pennsylvania Republican Party’s national committeeperson. She also founded the Women Lead PAC, which supports Republican women candidates at the national level. She was also the co-chair of the finance committee for the Republican National Committee.
