Wide receiver Allen Robinson passed his physical with the Steelers yesterday, and the team is making the acquisition of the nine-year veteran official. To get Robinson and a seventh round pick in next week’s NFL draft, the Steelers will give the Rams their own seventh rounder, meaning the Rams will move from the 251st overall selection to the 234th choice. The Rams will cover about two-thirds of the $15.25 million owed on Robinson’s contract.
The Steelers have begun their official offseason voluntary workout program. Most of the team has gathered at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex for drills on Tuesday.
