The Steelers have reportedly worked out a trade with the Los Angeles Rams that will land them a big-name wide receiver.
Former Penn State wideout Allen Robinson is headed to Pittsburgh along with a 7th round draft choice in exchange for the Steelers’ 7th round pick. Making the deal even sweeter, the Rams have already paid Robinson a $5.25 million roster bonus and have agreed to pay $5 million of Robinson’s remaining $10 million contract.
Robinson was a big-time free agent signing by the Rams last year but played in only 10 games, with 33 catches, due to a foot injury. He’s also played for the Jaguars and Bears in nine years in the NFL. He will have a physical today and if he passes, the trade will be completed.
