INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police have charged a DuBois man for alcohol-related crimes following an incident Saturday morning. Police say they were called to the 00 block of South 5th Street around 1:15 for reports of a man passed out in a nearby parking lot. Upon investigation, officers found 25-year-old Stephen Zachary Priddy to be intoxicated to the point where he was a danger to himself and others. Priddy was lodged in Indiana County Jail and issued a non-traffic citation for public drunkenness.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
A New Florence man faces drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Blairsville Borough on Saturday. Troopers say at 1:41 a.m., they pulled over a car driven by an unnamed 40-year-old man after receiving reports that they fled an earlier traffic stop conducted by members of the St. Clair Township Police Department. Troopers say they found the man driving under the influence of marijuana and was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The man was interviewed on scene by police and taken into custody on suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending the results of a blood test and further investigation.
