Conemaugh Township crushed Portage, 17-3.
If the weather allows, there is a big game today in Armagh between two of the best Heritage Conference teams. United is 7-1, having lost only to Conemaugh Township last Friday. Northern Cambria is 8-0.
SOFTBALL
Marion Center beat Punxsutawney, 6-1, in a non-conference game. Mya Lipsie, Abigail Smulik, and Kaily Anderson each had two hits. Lipsie, Smulik, and Alexis Roush each hit solo home runs and Kaily Anderson bashed a two-run homer. Cheyenne Silvis earned the win, striking out four and giving up five hits and a walk.
River Valley fell to Richland, 11-4. Ashley Pynos and Hannah Artley each had two hits for the Panthers.
Purchase Line lost to Curwensville, 17-1.
Cambria Heights lost to Glendale, 14-4.
