The offseason rebuilding program continues for Pitt coach Jeff Capel, who yesterday landed former Rhode island guard Ishmael Leggett off the transfer portal. The 6-3 Leggett will have two years of eligibility remaining after starting 32 games and averaging 16.1 points per game for the Rams last season.
Leggett is Capel’s second verbal commit of the offseason after 6-7 forward Zack Austin announced that he is coming to Pitt after two seasons at High Point University in North Carolina.
