The Curve couldn’t capture the series win in Erie after falling to the Seawolves, 7-3, on Sunday. Henry Davis and Domingo Leyba each tallied a home run for Altoona while Josh Palacios went 2-for-4 with a double.
Aaron Shortridge coughed up four runs, three earned, in 3.1 innings. Noe Toribio was stellar in relief, striking out three and limiting the Seawolves to just one hit in 2.2 innings.
The Curve are off today and start a six-game homestand tomorrow night against Bowie.
