After a status conference last week, Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco has scheduled the Nathanael Price trial for November.
The judge has scheduled another status conference on August 11th, arguments on motions on September 25th, and jury selection to begin on November 6th. Depending on how quickly a jury could be chosen, the trial would start either on the 7th, 8th, or 9th, or the following week on the 13th, 14th, or 15th.
Price and co-defendant Justin Stephenson were both charged with the murders of Timothy Gardner and Jacqueline Brink at the couple’s apartment in Cherryhill Township in October of 2016. Stephenson pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree murder and is serving life in prison without the chance of parole. He is appealing. A third defendant, Isaiah Scott, had his case handled in juvenile probation. Scott was not involved in the murders, but was accused of serving as a lookout.
