Even as the Steelers continue to host draft prospects daily, they are reshaping the current roster.
Yesterday, they released outside linebacker Jamir Jones, who appeared in all 17 games last season. It’s an indication they will sign a more experienced backup linebacker who can play more than special teams.
They have hosted former top draft pick Bud Dupree, who was released by Tennessee last month two years after leaving Pittsburgh for the Titans.
