IUP’s leading rebounder is headed to the Division I level.
Multiple reports say Tomiwa Sulaiman, who entered the NCAA transfer portal in March, is headed to Smithfield, Rhode Island, to play for the Bryant Bulldogs. Sulaiman played in all 34 games for the Crimson Hawks this past season, averaging 12.6 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game at IUP. He also led the team with 324 total rebounds.
Bryant finished the season 17-13 overall and is coming off its first season in the American East Conference. In conference play, the Bulldogs went 8-8.
Three Crimson Hawks remain in the portal. Those are sophomores Callum MacNamara, Kyle Polce, and Nolan Burk.
