At the final day of action at the YMCA National Swimming Championships, Preston Kessler, Peyton Scott and Alex Bauer all qualified for the finals on the final day.
Preston Kessler, qualified for the A finals in the 100 Freestyle by posting a 44.53 in the morning preliminaries. In the A Finals, Kessler finished 5th overall with a time of 44.83.
On the women’s side, Peyton Scott swam a 1:03.62 in the morning session, qualifying 7th for the evening A Finals. Scott was able to better her time in the finals by dropping .45 seconds and finishing 7th with a time of 1:03.17.
Alex Bauer qualified for the B Finals in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 56.49 in the morning session. In the B Finals, Bauer posted a time of 55.63, dropping .86 seconds and finished 2nd in the B finals and 10th place overall in the event.
