The IUP baseball team swept Clarion in a double-header yesterday by scores of 9-3 and 6-0.
Pitcher Mark Edebrun improved to 3-0 on the season, and recorded his first shutout of the season on Friday. Game one’s pitchers had excellent games as well as Jeremiah Williams got the start and collected 11 outs with two runs allowed and one whiff in three and two-thirds innings while Paul Tripi put up zeroes in the hit, run, and walk columns en route to getting the victory, thanks to a six-run seventh by the Crimson Hawks’ offense.
The two teams will play again on Sunday in Clarion for a double-header.
