The PIAA released the venues and game times for Monday’s semifinals in the girls’ 3A and 2A basketball playoffs.
District 6 3A champion River Valley will travel to Kiski Area High School to take on Our Lady of Sacred Heart, the fifth seed out of District 7, at 7 p.m. Airtime is 6:30 p.m. on Cat Country 106.3 FM.
If the Panthers win, they will play in the championship game against the winner of the other semifinal, District 3 champion Lancaster Catholic vs District 2 champion Dunmore. The championship game will be Thursday, March 23 at 6 p.m. at the GIANT Center in Hershey.
On Monday, District 6 2A champion Homer-Center will make the longer trek to Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall to battle District 2 champion Montrose. Tipoff is 6 p.m., and airtime is 5:30 p.m. on WCCS FM 101.1 and AM 1160.
If the Wildcats win, they will play in the championship game against the winner of the other semifinal, District 10 champion Kennedy Catholic vs District 7 fifth seed Greensburg Central Catholic. The championship game will be Thursday, March 23 at noon at the GIANT Center in Hershey.
