The PIAA has announced venues and times for the quarterfinal round of the girls’ state playoffs this Friday, including the 2A Homer-Center Wildcats and 3A River Valley Panthers.
District 6 2A champion Homer-Center clashes with Sacred Heart Academy, the second seed out of District 1, at Mifflin County High School in Lewistown. Airtime will be 5:45 p.m. pm on WCCS FM 101.1 and AM 1160 and streaming audio on WCCSradio.com. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
River Valley, the District 6 3A champion, returns to Armstrong High School to battle District 7 representative Shady Side Academy. Airtime will be 7:15 p.m. on Cat Country 106.3 FM and streaming audio on CatCountry1063fm.com with tip-off set for 7:30.
