Indiana County has two high school basketball teams still alive in the PIAA playoffs.
The Homer-Center Wildcats will tangle with Millersburg, the District 3 champion, tomorrow night, tipping off at Bald Eagle High School at 7 o’clock. Millersburg is 19-8 and beat Tri Valley, 44-33 in the first round. 21-7 Homer-Center put a defensive vice on Chartiers Houston in the first round, coming away with a 43-20 win. Also tomorrow, the River Valley girls make the short trip to Armstrong High School, where they will play WPIAL number two finisher Laurel. District 6 champ River Valley is 26-2. The Panthers beat York Catholic, 60-52, in the first round on Friday, while Laurel, at 24-3 trimmed Sharpsville, 57-31.
