The IUP Men’s and Women’s basketball teams wrap up the regular season today with games on the road against California. For the women’s team, it will be a crucial game as the number 2 seed in the PSAC tournament is on the line. Even though IUP lost their last time out, the team was able to clinch a spot in the tournament for the 17th consecutive season. Today’s game will determine if the Crimson Hawks get a bye into the quarterfinal round.
The IUP men already have the top seed locked up and picked up a bye, and after today, they will host the PSAC quarterfinals on March 1st as the top team in the NCAA Division 2 atlantic region.
