Pittsburgh Penguins GM Ron Hextall is facing scrutiny from Pens fans over the team’s lack of success as of late. The team’s four game losing streak, highlighted by a recent lopsided loss to Edmonton, had fans chanting “Fire Hextall” during the game. He said he has heard the fans, and feels their frustrations.
A few weeks ago, Hextall said that his team would not be sellers at the trade deadline. And now, one week from that deadline on March 3rd, he maintains that position.
The Pens are back in action today in St. Louis playing against The Blues.
