Indiana tripped up Kiski Area, 5-3, last night as Ash Lockard and Gabe Nettleton each had a goal and an assist. Phillip Bell had three assists for the Indians.
Indiana scored the first four goals of the game, three in the first period. Garrett Goodrich opened the scoring and Nettleton and Sam Barkley added goals to make it 3-0 Indiana after one period. Lockard scored eight seconds into the second period to make it 4-0 before Kiski’s Ethan George got the Cavaliers’ first goal just fifteen seconds later. Colton Rayko got a goal for Indiana at 13:37 of the second, and it was 5-1 Indiana after two. Kiski added goals early in the third by Matt Drahos and Ethan Brink to set the final at 5-3.
Luke Rowe made 27 saves for Indiana to earn his sixth win of the season.
Indiana is 12-7-1 and in fifth place in Varsity A Blue. Kiski fell to 15-5. The Cavaliers are in fourth in the division.
