The IUP men’s basketball program enters the final week of regular season action ranked first in the latest set of NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings, released yesterday. The men are ranked third in the latest NABC Coaches Poll and second in the D2SIDA listing. West Liberty was second, followed by Mercyhurst, Virginia Union and Fairmont State in the top five in the Atlantic.
The IUP women are sixth in the Atlantic Region. Defending national champion Glenville State tops the Atlantic, followed by Gannon, Shippensburg, West Virginia State and West Chester.
