It looks like a new sporting goods store is coming to Indiana Mall to become one of the facility’s anchor stores.
It was announced on the mall’s Facebook page that construction would start soon in the former BonTon location on the Warren Road side of the facility to turn that store into a Duham’s Sports location. Dunham’s Sports is owned by the Dunham’s Athleisure Corporation with 240 stores primarily in the Midwest to Southeast United States. The chain began in 1937 as Dunham’s Bait and Tackle in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Their home office is located in Troy.
We have reached out to Dunham’s to get more information on when the store will open, but they have not yet responded to our request.
Because of the upcoming construction, the Mall is asking people using the Warren Road entrance to turn left as the road directly in front of the former BonTon is closed completely. This includes anyone trying to access the MovieScoop Cinema, GoBonkerz facilities or Tate’s Gymnastics. People are also reminded that the front entrance off Oakland Avenue is also open.
