Coach Mike Sullivan says the Penguins were eager to get back on the ice after Saturday’s loss in L.A.
Sullivan says the top line of Crosby, Guentzel, and Rakell once again dominated play.

Sidney Crosby says the Penguins can play better hockey than they did last night.
The Penguins return home for a couple of days before playing in New York against the Islanders on Friday. Jake Guentzel is happy to at least be back on the East Coast.
Forward Ryan Poehling took part in the pregame skate but did not play in the game. Sullivan said afterward that Poehling is still feeling the effects of a nagging upper body injury he suffered in December. Drew O’Connor skated in place of Poehling. Defenseman Mark Friedman also sat out with an undisclosed injury.
Goaltender Tristan Jarry missed his 13th game of the last 15, and his seventh in a row. Sullivan said Jarry is very close to returning to the lineup. It could come this weekend when the Pens play back-to-back in New York on Friday and in Pittsburgh against the Devils on Saturday.
