The IUP basketball teams return to the KCAC this week looking to continue their momentum after picking up two wins over Clarion on Saturday.
The women moved to 17-7 overall and 12-7 in the PSAC West after their 69-65 win over the Golden Eagles, placing them third in the division. Coach Craig Carey said he liked getting the win despite not playing as well as he wanted.
Meanwhile, the men continue to sit atop the nation after downing Clarion, 70-63. Coach Joe Lombardi said his team struggled because they played Clarion’s reputation, instead of the team across the floor.
IUP plays host to Edinboro for a doubleheader Wednesday night. Airtime will be 5:15 p.m. on U92.5 FM and U92radio.com.
